gendance went out with a bang at this year's UDMA. (Do you expect anything less?) For those of you who don't know, UDMA stands for United Dance Merchants of America. Basically, all the costume companies, dancewear brands, dance competitions, and dance magazines (like us) get together under one roof and strut their stuff to dance teachers from across the country.
We thought you'd like to know that our gendance banner was a big hit. We highlighted the amazing people (like you) and brands who we've covered throughout our first year of publishing. (Mark your calendars: Our 1st Birthday Celebration Issue is November 5th!) We recieved so much positive feedback and we realized that we've accomplished exactly what we set out to do: inspire the next generation by keeping on top of the trends and telling you the need-to-know information.
But the true story lies within dance studio owner Lee Fischer and her daughter. They told us how much they love reading gendance every week, and we think they're pretty cool. So we'd like to give them, and their studio
