DanceLive is seeking a freelance press officer to promote the 2010 Festival.
DanceLive is a festival of contemporary dance in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire, running from 1st October – 9th November 2010. DanceLive is produced by Citymoves Dance Agency, with funding from Scottish Arts Council, Event Scotland and Aberdeen City Council.
The aim of the role is to raise the profile of the festival through achieving significant media coverage for the festival, in press, radio and tv. The ideal candidate will have good press contacts both locally and nationally and experience and an understanding of events and arts festivals.

Citymoves is looking for a Dance Development Officer to actively develop dance throughout Aberdeen by delivering, planning and implementing a programme of participatory dance activities throughout the city, ensuring at all times the fullest possible opportunity for the development of dance in the City and maximising the opportunities for Aberdeen’s citizens.
