10 years ago I ripped off an audition notice posted at York University for a hip-hop dance company called The Phem Phat Dancers. Joy Frazier was the head choreographer. Fatima Wilson was the manager and the dancers were some of the dopest women I have ever seen move. A few days after my audition I received a page (yes people: A Page) from Fatima telling me I had made the company. I knew that would be the start of some pretty amazing moments in my dance career.
